The Regional Research Institute
The Eduś platform, created by the Regional Research Institute, is a place where regional education materials for students and teachers from the Silesian Voivodeship have been collected. On “Eduś” you can find materials on physical and socio-economic geography, biology, history, knowledge about society, religion, the Polish language and art. The database covers 100 topics (in addition to approximately 300 pages of content, 500 photos, 850 exercises and games, 120 didactic and historical maps, 120 diagrams and charts are also available).
The platform has a modular layout. The main part of the topics within each subject concerns the entire voivodeship. However, for each school subject, specific lessons have also been prepared, devoted to issues characteristic of the cultural sub-regions. These have been specially highlighted using separate colours.
The use of the Platform is free of charge for educational and didactic purposes (provided that copyright is preserved, i.e. the source of the materials is given).
