From August 3rd to 30th, 2026, the Silesian Library will be closed (main building at Plac Rady Europy 1 in Katowice and Board Games Lending Library, Ligonia Street 7 in Katowice) due to the reinstallation of the system (Integro library catalogue) and maintenance work on the High Storage Warehouse.
- Book orders and loans will not be fulfilled during this period. The deadline for returning materials borrowed in July will be extended until September.
- Book returns can be processed on an ongoing basis using the drop box. Returns will be registered in the reader’s account after the system has been completely reinstalled.
- Circulation cards will be confirmed Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm – library entrance from Damrota Street (contact at the security point), after complete reinstallation of the system.
