Everyone has the right to request that the digital website or some element of it be made accessible. It is also possible to request that the information be made available by means of an alternative access method, for example by reading a digitally unavailable document, describing the content of a film without audio description, etc. The request should contain the data of the person making the request, an indication of the website concerned and a means of contact. If the person requesting the information wishes to obtain it through an alternative means of access, they should also specify a means of presenting that information which is convenient to them. The Silesian Library should process the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the Silesian Library shall immediately inform the requester when the request will be possible, but this deadline may not be longer than 2 months from the date of submitting the request. If digital accessibility is not possible, the Silesian Library may propose an alternative method of accessing information. If the Silesian Library refuses to comply with a request to provide accessibility or an alternative means of accessing information, the requester may file a complaint regarding the provision of accessibility to the digital website or website element. Once the above procedure has been completed, a request may also be made to the Ombudsman.
